Jack Grealish made his full debut in Everton’s 2-0 win against Brighton and Hove Albion on Sunday afternoon.
Jack Grealish has joined Everton on a season-long loan deal from Manchester City and was given 20 minutes off the bench against Leeds United last weekend.
David Moyes started the 29-year-old against Brighton, and he produced a stellar performance, registering two assists.
Jordan Pickford has already seen Grealish’s quality in training, and supporters certainly saw that at the Hill Dickinson Stadium.
Speaking after the game, the England international shared the main difference he felt playing for Everton compared to Man City.

Grealish spoke to Sky Sports after his sensational performance against Brighton and admitted that he felt like he had more freedom compared to his previous four years at Man City.

“I felt really good. It was nice. I don’t want to get into like saying I didn’t feel free before (at Man City). Out there today I could drift, I could do what I want more or less and play with a bit of freedom.
“Take more risks. I feel like I have done that. I was so happy with the team’s performance with my own as well. The last time I played 90 minutes, think was April or March. Nearly four or five months ago.
“To get that under my belt in a tough game, I am happy with myself. For myself, I think today I was nowhere near fit. Hopefully, I can provide a lot more and better performances.
“It is a pleasure to play for this team in this stadium.”
Jack Grealish’s impressive stats vs Brighton and Hove Albion
Grealish’s performance today was very reminiscent of those at Aston Villa, as he proved to be a real difference maker.
He was a maverick going forward, but as evinced by his Sofascore statistics, he also contributed defensively, too.
89 minutes
57 touches
3 key passes
2 assists
6 duels won
3 tackles
1 blocked shot
Grealish won a whopping six duels and made three tackles, so it proves he’ll be much more than just a luxury player for Everton.
"Jack was game for it; he didn’t try to shirk anything. He didn’t want off after 60 minutes – no chance. He wants to show he’s the real deal.
"He probably has something to prove. I had something to prove over the years at different times. I think sometimes it gives you that… pic.twitter.com/6KWB6hZzSi

Moyes believes he has that hunger to prove naysayers wrong, and despite not being fully fit, he played almost the full 90.
Certainly a very encouraging afternoon for the new signing.
