Stats Show Encouraging Sign For Giants’ Offense

The New York Giants are looking to get back on their feet.

They revamped their quarterback room ahead of this season, knowing that this might be Brian Daboll’s final chance to work his magic with the offense.

And while this is just the preseason, the change has been evident.

As shown by Dov Kleiman on X, the Giants scored 107 points in just three preseason games.

That’s almost one-third of what they scored in 17 regular-season games last season (273 points).

Insane Giants stat:

2025 | 3 preseason games: 107 points

2024 | 17 regular-season games: 273 points

Rookie QB Jaxson Dart looked like a potential star in the making in his preseason action.

He’s still not going to be the starter, and he might not take the field at all as a rookie.

The team loves what they see in him, but they know he’s still a work in progress, and they don’t want to ruin him by throwing him into the fire this early.

However, he could take Jameis Winston’s spot as QB2.

Russell Wilson is going to be the undisputed starter to begin this season.

This will most likely be his final opportunity to prove that he can still be a winner and a starter in this league after two failed stints with the Denver Broncos and Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Giants expect to be one of the most improved teams in the league this season, although the bar isn’t particularly high.

Perhaps all they needed was a quarterback change for Coach Daboll to look like the offensive guru he was presented as when he was hired.
