Jadon Sancho’s future remains a point of mystery with over a week left to go in the summer transfer window.
Manchester United and Ruben Amorim have made their position clear: the England international has no future at Old Trafford.
With Bayern Munich still in need of offensive reinforcements, some reports have suggested that Vincent Kompany’s side could provide a new place of refuge for the footballer.

Here at CF Bayern Insider, we understand that the rumours of FC Bayern interest in Sancho are totally wide of the mark.
The Bavarian giants are not interested in the out-of-favour Manchester United winger. This is at least partly because his current salary with the Red Devils (an alleged £250k-a-week, according to Capology) is too high.
As we have likewise reported back in mid-August, the reigning Bundesliga champions are also not looking at either Rasmus Hojlund or Nicolas Jackson to bolster the ranks.
Manchester United already have a suitor
It’s worth pointing out that United did have willing suitors for Jadon Sancho deal in Serie A outfit Roma.
However, with the 25-year-old apparently unwilling to help move the deal forward, negotiations look dead in the water at the present time.
The former Borussia Dortmund star’s current terms at Old Trafford are set to expire in the summer of 2026.
Bayern need reliable competition for the forward line
As things currently stand, Vincent Kompany has a formidable starting front-three to call upon.
A combination of Luis Diaz, Harry Kane and Michael Olise is, categorically, a world-class frontline fit to tackle the challenge of a Champions League campaign with ambitions of silverware.
The big question that remains is what follows after Kingsley Coman’s switch to the Saudi Pro League.
Bayern’s current backup options consist of Serge Gnabry and two exciting, but raw, prodigies in Lennart Karl (17) and Jonah Kusi-Asare (18).
There is serious firepower available to Kompany in 2025/26, but understandable concerns about the depth.
