Hull City Ladies lead the FA Women’s National League Northern Premier Division after match day two, AFC Bournemouth are top of the Southern Premier.

Northern Premier Division

Derby County 1-2 Loughborough Lightning

Halifax 2-0 Stoke City

Hull City 4-1 West Bromwich Albion (Att: 211)

Middlesbrough 0-0 Rugby Borough

Sporting Khalsa 1-2 Liverpool Feds (Att: 60)

Wolverhampton Wanderers 0-0 Burnley (Att: 521)

A brace from Hope Knight helped Hull City beat West Brom 4-1, leading the table as the only team with a 100% record after just two games. Wolves and Burnley drew a blank, as was the case between Middlesbrough and Rugby with all four staying unbeaten. Loughborough took the win at Derby, Lucy Cooper with their late second before the Rams replied. Halifax got off the mark Stoke with all three points, likewise Liverpool Feds away to Sporting Khalsa where Katie Andersen got the crucial second.

AFC Bournemouth came from behind to win at Hashtag with Kelci Bowers’ 90th-minute goal, with the Cherries top of the table. Rebekah Trewhitt doubled Lewes’ lead over Exeter where they took the points 2-1, Hannah Mackenzie’s header earned Hannah AFC Wimbledon a draw at Oxford. Cori Williams-Mills netted half Gwalia’s eight goals at Billericay, Cheltenham ran out 4-1 winners at Bedford, Madison Perry got both goals as Watford saw off Plymouth.

Peterborough are top the table after thrashing Lincoln, Boldmere also continuing a winning start as they edged a nine-goal thriller with Barnsley despite Jannelle Straker’s red card shortly after Leonie Joyce scored their decisive fifth. Leafield are a third side to win again, Evie Gallop’s late penalty deciding the clash with Sheffield FC. Chloe Finn was the single scorer to give Northampton victory at Kidderminster Notts County netted five at Stourbridge with Evie Brooks at the double,

Stockport made it back-to-back wins by the odd goal in five at Chorley, similarly Cheadle who defeated Huddersfield with a last-minute Rachel Dunlop goal. Leeds are third after victory at Chester le Street, Doncaster put five past York after a rush of goals including a quick Abi Coley double. Fran Ward’s second-half strike saw Durham Cestria beat Blackburn, Kirsty Chambers’ dramatic late goals meant Wythenshawe edged Norton for a first-ever win at this level.

London Bees 8-2 AFC Sudbury

Chatham Town 3-2 Milton Keynes Dons

London Bees overcame AFC Sudbury 8-2 after a 5-0 half-time lead, Norwich won away at QPR with Issy Moore adding to a Freya Symonds spot-kick, Fulham also on six points after victory at Actonians. Chatham’s third goal by Amelia Woodgate proved crucial, as MK Dons set up a tight finish after home keeper Simone Eligon was dismissed for handball outside the box, but they also kept up a perfect start. Cambridge’s Jade Bell bagged a brace in beating Luton 5-0, Dulwich defeated Chesham with a couple of early goals.

Marine Academy Plymouth picked up their first FA WNL points with a 4-0 defeat of Portishead, Liane Folkenstern’s brace gave Bournemouth Sports the win at Worthing. Ascot took their opening one from a 1-1 draw with Moneyfields, Maidenhead also tied 1-1 with Keynsham, while it was goalless between Bridgwater and 0-0 Bristol Rovers.
