For the starters, it’s always nice to see them go down and get a touchdown, even if it was against backups on the Rams. Joe Flacco looks just as capable as the 2023 version of him that we saw, and now he has a dual threat of tight end weapons to help him. I’m a little concerned with Harold Fannin’s hands based on some training camp drops he’s had, and the bobble he had on the touchdown catch before securing it in, but hopefully he’ll be alright.

Shedeur Sanders was a mess when he was in there, but we still stand behind his development. What we aren’t doing is making some of the absurd and ridiculous claims that media personalities on X are trying to make, proclaiming that Kevin Stefanski is a racist for how he handled the quarterback situation. The group saying that stuff is so “out there” with delusion that it’s not worth addressing. During Sanders’ preseason game against the Panthers, we noted that he showed a lot of good skills, except that he seemed slower with his progressions and holding onto the ball compared to other quarterbacks. That showed up against the Rams in a detrimental way for him.

Gage Larvadain continues to impress.

On offense, I don’t know if anyone else really hurt or helped their stock in the final preseason game, outside of quarterback. But they still put up a solid effort; it’s just too bad that Sanders’ second-half performance got of limited the team’s inability to put more drives together:
