The only Man Utd player to create a big chance in Fulham game will surprise their fans

Manchester United are still in search of their first Premier League win of 2025-26 after Fulham held them to a 1-1 draw at Craven Cottage on Sunday evening.

A deflected Leny Yoro’s effort off Rodrigo Muniz put the Red Devils ahead in the 58th minute after Bruno Fernandes missed a chance to open the scoring from the spot in the first-half.

However, Man United saw their lead last for only 15 minutes as Fulham drew level through Emile Smith Rowe.

The draw would have left Red Devils head coach Ruben Amorim disappointed, and he tried to ensure his side got a winner by bringing in England international defender Harry Maguire in the closing stages of the game.

The Netherlands international striker Joshua Zirkzee remained on the bench, while the attacking trio of Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo and Benjamin Sesko were unable to influence the proceedings.

Surprisingly, Man United goalkeeper Altay Bayindir was the only one to create a big chance for the visitors all game, which should leave Amorim worried.

The Turkey international played a long ball to Cunha, but the Brazilian was unable to score as Fulham goalie Bernd Leno produced a huge save to deny the Man United attacker.

Excellent save from Leno from Cunha, who takes Bayindir's long punt downfield with one touch and shoots with his second.
