Leeds United locked in talks for loan agreement, wages covered and possible fee received - Sky…

Leeds United winger Largie Ramazani is in talks over a move to sign for Carlos Corberan’s Valencia, having been left out of the squad that faced Arsenal.

Inquests into what contributed to the 5-0 defeat at Arsenal on Saturday largely fall at the doorstep of Daniel Farke more than anyone, despite the overwhelming expectation that the Gunners would cruise to victory.

His team selection in defence, midfield and attack brought questions, while Largie Ramazani was left at home to watch on as his teammates failed to muster up a great deal to threaten David Raya’s goal.

Largie Ramazani in talks to leave Leeds United on loan for Valencia under Carlos Corberan

Ramazani’s involvement wouldn’t have changed the scoreline at the Emirates, but his omission is a further bleak reminder of his place in Farke’s pecking order, and that place is virtually rock bottom.

A year on from his £10million arrival from Spanish side Almeria, a return to La Liga looks to be on the cards as The Athletic reveal talks ongoing with Carlos Corberan’s Valencia.

The loan could include a buy option while sources from the club claim the deal is “likely” to proceed ahead of the final days of the window.

According to Sky Sports reporter Sacha Tavolieri, current club-to-club talks hinge on whether Valencia will pay a loan fee to take him for the season, Leeds eager to have the La Liga side pay for his services while Valencia are happy to cover wages.

Largie Ramazani needs to leave in order to progress away from Leeds United

In a different world, Ramazani doesn’t get injured against Watford in October 2024 and becomes one of our best players in the promotion season – that’s my view.

But his setback opened the door for Manor Solomon, and we all know Farke has been very unflinching when it comes to a winning team, for good or for bad.

Now, we’ve got a £10million asset rotting at the club and he needs to leave in order to progress his career, as he’s being truly wasted right now, which is such a shame.

Of course, we can’t comment on what he’s like in training, but you can all see what he’s like on the pitch and he deserves more.
