Arsenal Player Ratings Vs Leeds: One Player Gets 9/10 And Three Others Get 8

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta will be delighted with his team’s performance against Leeds on Saturday evening.

However, the injuries sustained by Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka will leave a bitter taste in the mouth.

Read below our Arsenal player ratings for the 5-0 win over Leeds at the Emirates.

Goalkeeper and Defence

GK – David Raya – 7/10 – made a good save from Pascal Struijk to keep the score at 0-0 in the first half.

RB – Jurrien Timber – 9/10 – two goals and an assist from the Dutchman. An outstanding night’s work.

CB – William Saliba – 7/10 – kept Joel Piroe quiet and made one important tackle in the first half to prevent a counter-attack.

CB – Gabriel – 5/10 – the Brazilian lost Struijk for his chance and made a couple of other mistakes too. Not his best 90 minutes in an Arsenal shirt.

LB – Riccardo Calafiori – 8/10 – the defender underlapped and overlapped to cause problems for Leeds. He got two assists for the 3rd and 4th goals.

Midfield

CM – Martin Zubimendi – 6/10 – the Spanish international had a difficult start to the game, but he grew in confidence after playing a role in Arsenal’s second goal.

CM – Declan Rice – 8/10 – like Calafiori, the midfielder got two assists, with two great deliveries from corners.

AM – Martin Odegaard – 6/10 – the captain went close with a shot from range before being forced off before half-time with a shoulder problem.
