Everton fans now have a positive view of the season ahead with Jack Grealish in their plans.
It looked all doom and gloom for the Toffees after a dismal showing against Leeds United, but the performance against Brighton has certainly turned heads.
Grealish loved playing with Iliman Ndiaye as the two look to be a serious threat for the Blues this season.
David Moyes’ side have a real chance to build momentum, and with the on-loan Man City star in their ranks, it gives every chance for a European push for Everton.
But Louis Saha has pointed out something that Grealish will want, and the former Toffees striker believes he can get it from this loan spell.
Former Everton striker Louis Saha says Jack Grealish can get back in England squad with loan spell
Although it’s just a loan spell, you get the feeling that the saying of ‘never fall in love with a loan player’ will spring to mind come the end of the season.
The winger showed excellence, providing two assists, as his threat in the final third was shown to a tee.

Saha, who was a pundit for the Brighton win, has pointed out something which will only spur Grealish on to succeed.
“It’s all about the connection with the other wingers,” Saha said.
“He wants to prove people wrong after he had been criticised, and there is a World Cup – there is a possibility to revive his chance to be in that squad.”
After the game, Grealish said he had more freedom, but there was also another element of his game that will be crucial to the Blues this season.
Jack Grealish showed he’s more than an attacking outlet for Everton
Of course, the winger showed his true creative outlet from the left wing as he proved to be a nightmare for Brighton’s Mats Wieffer at right back.
But although this is what he was brought in to do, his tracking back and defending on the left side was nothing short of brilliant.

Not only has Moyes signed a player on loan who was once worth £100 million, but it looks like the 29-year-old has already shown glimpses of his old form.
Pat Nevin said Everton look much more attacking, and it looks like the Toffees will suit their style to the winger, who is off to the perfect start.
