Leeds United have agreed a deal to sign Leicester City full-back James Justin with a medical arranged today.
United’s trip to Arsenal was always expected to bring a defeat, but there’s obvious areas where Daniel Farke could do with investment still.
Jayden Bogle and Gabriel Gudmundsson were dealt a rough hand against the Gunners, but versatile backup behind the duo is one of those areas where Farke needs an addition.

Leeds United agree £10m James Justin transfer with medical booked
As Isaac Schmidt looks to be close to the exit door via Werder Bremen on loan, Leeds require a backup that can operate on both sides, and focused their efforts on Leicester City’s James Justin, having captained the Foxes in their first two Championship games.

An injury in that second outing threatened to derail a move, but despite him being left out of the win away at Charlton Athletic on Saturday, a move has progressed over the weekend – per The Telegraph’s Mike McGrath.
A £10million deal has now been agreed as United booked the 27-year-old in for a medical today.
Meanwhile, Sky Sports’ Rob Dorsett has given further insight into the fee – structured as £8million up front and £2million in further add-ons.
James Justin an ideal solution as full-back depth for Leeds United
£10million all in is quite a hefty sum for a backup full-back, but his versatility means we’ve killed two birds with one stone.
He covers both sides equally well and means we’ve got sufficient depth to be largely comfortable from week to week.
It looks a more favourable deal now that we’re only paying £8million up front.
Hopefully more is to come next week.
