Altay Bayindir is staying positive despite Manchester United’s draw with Fulham.
Manchester United fans are rightfully frustrated at present after two games without a win to start the season.
And amid the disappointment after a positive pre-season, United’s staff and players must channel their energy correctly.
Goalkeeper Altay Bayindir is trying to do so, despite ongoing questions over his own future.

Altay Bayindir sends message to Man Utd fans
Altay Bayindir started in goal ahead of Andre Onana, with head coach Ruben Amorim making clear pre-game that this was a selection choice, rather than injury related.
It is the second week in a row that Bayindir has started. He had some good moments, and some bad.
Bayindir rushed out early to effectively shut down a scoring opportunity, while his accurate long ball created a chance that Matheus Cunha should have scored.
On the other side of the coin, Bayindir was wrong-footed for Fulham’s goal, while when defending corners he looked highly vulnerable, once again.

United drew the game 1-1, and Bayindir had a message to send to fans after the game, thanking fans for their encouragement.
He wrote on Instagram: “Grateful for your support. Keep pushing together. ❤️”
The last time Altay Bayindir kept a clean sheet
Altay Bayindir’s wait for a clean sheet is becoming a lengthy one. The last time he played and did not concede a goal was 11 months ago.
Bayindir’s last clean sheet for Manchester United was in September 2024 in Manchester United’s 7-0 win over Barnsley in the Carabao Cup.
He has played 12 games since, conceding in each. And while some of that can be pinned on his defence, it’s clear something is not working.
Manchester United are working on signing Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens, and this was expected to lead to Bayindir’s exit.
However, with Bayindir selected and Onana omitted, it is still possible that the Cameroon international could be the one to make way.
