Rob Gronkowski returns to Gillette Stadium for guest appearance at Morgan Wallen concert

Morgan Wallen didn’t have to look very far for his walk-out guests during his two nights at Gillette Stadium.

The country singer walked alongside New England Patriots coach Mike Vrabel on Friday before enlisting Super Bowl-winning tight end Rob Gronkowski for Wallen’s final show in Foxborough.

Gronkowski donned a jersey with Patriots colors that had “617″ across the front. He also had a Patriots-themed inflatable guitar that he handed off to Wallen before he jogged down the tunnel and caught the guitar like a footall.

In true Gronk fashion, he spiked the guitar to a crowd of lod cheers.

Gronkowski was in Boston last week to celebrate the opening of “Gronk Playground” on the Esplanade. There he teased signing a one-day contract with New England in order to retire a member of the Patriots.

“Come back for a day, a weekend, whatever it is. So we’ll make it happen, and it’ll be a really, really cool moment,” Gronkowski told reporters. “It’s going to happen. We just don’t know when.”
