Euro wrap: Mbappe's form continues in Madrid victory

Kylian Mbappe maintained his impressive start to the season with a brace in **Real Madrid's** 3-0 LaLiga victory at **Real Oviedo**.

Mbappe scored the winner in Real’s opening 1-0 success against Osasuna and was on target again after 37 minutes following a delightful turn and low shot into the corner.

The France striker doubled Real’s lead with another clinical finish seven minutes from time after being set up by Vinicius Junior, who rounded off matters in the third minute of stoppage time.

Canada international Tajon Buchanan hit a hat-trick as **Villarreal** thrashed bottom team **Girona** 5-0 to take top spot on goal difference from Barcelona, with Nicolas Pepe and Rafa Marin also on the scoresheet.

**Real Sociedad** fought back to draw 2-2 against **Espanyol** while Ante Budimir’s ninth-minute header gave **Osasuna** a 1-0 victory over **Valencia**, who had defender Jose Gaya dismissed in the first half.

Jonathan David scored on his Serie A debut as **Juventus** saw off **Parma** 2-0.
