The Dallas Cowboys are seeing one of their former quarterback face some massive scrutiny after footage of him at an airport surfaced. The incident occurred just moments after he was released from his new team.

According to journalist Arnab Mondal:
Airport beers don’t usually make travel guides. They’re overpriced, flat, and rarely worth it. But for the Atlanta Falcons quarterback, that pint hit different.
Ben DiNucci, the QB who’s been roaming around the league for five years, shared a picture of himself enjoying a beer in the terminal after being cut by the Atlanta Falcons. He wrote on X: “Not many beers better than the airport ‘I just got cut from the NFL for the 7th time’ beer. Trust me, you wouldn’t understand.”
It came just a day after Atlanta finished its preseason in Dallas. The Falcons had picked him up earlier this summer, resting starter Michael Penix Jr. and backup Kirk Cousins.
DiNucci attempted only two passes in Friday’s game. Both fell incomplete. The following day, Atlanta gave him the news everyone expected. At 28, he packed up again and made peace with it the way most people would: with a cold beer before his flight.

When one follower asked if he tried crying, DiNucci shrugged it off.“What is there to cry about? I’ve had a 5 year NFL career and played on Sunday night football. Pretty cool if you ask me.”
That perspective comes from a career of near-misses. DiNucci once started for the Dallas Cowboys against the Eagles in 2020 after Andy Dalton entered concussion protocol. He went 21-of-40 in that game, lost two fumbles, and got sacked four times. Since then, he’s bounced through practice squads, made the XFL playoffs with the Seattle Sea Dragons, and collected enough stories for a book.
Through it all, he’s leaned into humor. “Not even NFL Hall of Famers can say they have been cut 7 times,” one fan wrote. DiNucci shot back: “This is fair. In a league of my own.”
The Pennsylvania native has also built a side hustle on Cameo, charging $65 for birthday shoutouts, fantasy football roasts, and pep talks. His bio even calls him a “fan-favorite” for mixing jokes with heart.
For now, his next step isn’t clear. He hinted at“something exciting” in a reply to NFL reporter Ed Werder. The Falcons, meanwhile, continue making roster moves after they also cut ties with a veteran wideout this month.
As for DiNucci, he walked away from Atlanta with $1.2 million in career earnings, a loyal following online, and one unforgettable airport beer.
