Real Madrid secured a comfortable 3-0 win away to Real Oviedo, with Kylian Mbappé scoring twice and Vinícius Júnior adding the third late on. Aurélien Tchouaméni put in a dominant display in midfield, while Arda Güler orchestrated the attack.
**Thibaut Courtois: 7.** Little to do. Had to make three saves and made them. Also came out of his goal within the first 10 seconds to prevent an Oviedo break.
**Dani Carvajal: 7.5.** Ferocious defensively with his slide tackles and pressing.
**Antonio Rüdiger: 7.** A couple hectic moments defending the high line but made good recoveries.
**Dean Huijsen: 7.** Several important clearances but also didn’t look himself on the ball with his passes and touches.
**Álvaro Carreras: 7.** Solid overloads, but struggled dealing with Alhassan on the wing in the second half.
**Aurélien Tchouaméni: 9.5.** Terrific. Incredible challenges all over the field — one of which led to Real Madrid’s opening goal.
**Fede Valverde: 7.3.** More involved today on the ball. Carried it forward well and got into good scoring positions. Ran out of gas in the second half.
**Arda Güler: 8.** 1 assist, 8 key passes. Pulled the strings.
**Rodrygo Goes: 7.5.** A bright spot in his first start in ages. Some very clever line-breaking dribbles as he attempted to shatter Real Oviedo’s low block.
**Franco Mastantuono: 7.3.** Couldn’t break through with his dribbling, but his defensive work and pressing were superb. Another who faded physically after so much exertion.
**Kylian Mbappé: 9.** He’s unstoppable right now. Two goals, both brilliant.
**Brahim Díaz: 7.5.** Always looks better off the bench when he can exploit space and tired legs. One assist and another beautiful key pass to Valverde in the box.
**Vinícius Jr: 8.5.** One assist, one goal. He seemed to receive Xabi Alonso’s message and responded in the best way possible.
**Gonzalo García: 7.** Active around corners and gave Madrid a target in the box.
**Dani Ceballos / Trent Alexander-Arnold: N/A.** Only 4 minutes of action.
