The Arizona Cardinals still haven’t seen what they can get from their first-round pick.
Walter Nolen III hasn’t been able to practice because of a calf injury.
Perhaps that’s why EA and Madden didn’t give much thought to his appearance.
In a now-viral clip shared by him on social media, the rookie defensive tackle called out EA for his appearance on the video game, stating that he clearly doesn’t look anything like the player they’re portraying.
“EA is trippin man,” Nolen said.

The only way to change that will be by getting on the field and showing what he’s got.
There’s still a chance that Nolen will be healthy enough to take the field in Week 1.
Then again, calf injuries are tricky; they can lead to Achilles tears, and the team is doing the right thing by erring on the side of caution with him.
So, even if he’s healthy, it might take a while before he gets up to speed and makes up for all the lost time.
The Cardinals don’t necessarily need him to pan out right away, but after watching Darius Robinson miss his entire rookie season last year, going back-to-back years with first-round picks out with injuries would be far from encouraging.
Nolen had more than enough accolades to be taken that high.
The Ole Miss product is an aggressive three-down player with a knack for dominating in the trenches, and while the numbers may not pop out, he’s someone who can anchor the interior of the defensive line with ease.
