The Philadelphia Eagles have traded reserve offensive lineman Darian Kinnard to the Green Bay Packers in exchange for a 2027 sixth-round pick, according to ESPN. Kinnard is one of two players all-time to win three consecutive Super Bowls; the first two with the Kansas City Chiefs, who drafted him in the fifth round of the 2022 NFL Draft, and most recently with the Eagles.
A trade this late in the process essentially guarantees that he will make the Packers' 53-man roster and have an opportunity to compete for a fourth consecutive Super Bowl. In three seasons, the former Wildcat has appeared in three games and played 71 offensive snaps. In 43 pass protection snaps (all with the Eagles), he allowed just one sack, according to TruMedia.
The trade was the third made by Philadelphia Sunday alone. Green Bay's starting offensive line is largely solidified with free agent signings and home drafted linemen.
NFL teams have until Tuesday, August 26 at 4 p.m. ET to get down to the 53-man active roster limit. CatsPause.com recently explored the former Wildcats that are currently on an NFL roster ahead of those decisions.
