The rumour of Ange Postecoglou returning to the Premier League is gathering speed with a new report claiming the Australian wants back in the English top flight.
Reports emerged over the weekend that the former Spurs manager sat high on the list of candidates to manage Nottingham Forest, should under-siege coach Nuno Espirito Santo be axed.
Now both *The Guardian*and TalkSPORT in the UK report that it’s understood the interest flows both ways, with Postecoglou said to be “keen to return” to the Premier League.
Furthermore, the TalkSPORT report states that Postecoglou has held talks with the club’s owner, Evangelos Marinakis.

Postecoglou and Marinakis share a personal relationship. They were in July pictured together in Greece where Marinakis — who also owns Olympiacos — presented Postecoglou an award for being the first Greek manager to win the Europa league.
Marinakis is now in the midst of a public falling out with Forest manager Nuno who, despite good results, is believed to be on thin ice at the club.

Nuno on Friday used his pre-game press conference to reveal that his relationship with Marinakis had been deteriorating — a revelation that has reportedly angered the owner.
“I always had a very good relationship with the owner, last season was very, very, very close,” Nuno said on Friday.
“This season, not so well. No, it’s not (good).“I don’t know exactly, but I’m being honest with you. I cannot say that is the same, because it’s not the same. The reason behind it, I don’t know.
“The reality is that is not what it used to be. What it used to be was a good, respectful relationship, but was more based on trust and sharing opinions, and now it’s not so good.”
Late last season the pair were also seen in a fiery on-pitch confrontation after Forest striker Taiwo Awoniyi played on in a match against Leicester with an abdominal injury that later required urgent surgery.
Also linked to the job is former Celtic and Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, and Jose Mourinho.
