Man Utd spent big to sign Benjamin Sesko from RB Leipzig in the summer transfer window.
Ruben Amorim believes Benjamin Sesko needs some time to settle before he can be fairly judged as a new Manchester United signing. United prioritised the signing of a striker in the summer window and eventually turned to Sesko after they missed out on preferred target Liam Delap, were priced out of a move for Hugo Ekitike and made aware Viktor Gyokeres wanted to join Arsenal instead.
Sesko has made two substitute appearances since he completed his £66 million move from RB Leipzig, coming off the bench in their opening defeat to Arsenal and their weekend draw with Fulham. The 22-year-old only played the final 26 minutes on his debut, but managed 38 minutes when he featured at Craven Cottage on Sunday afternoon.
It was a difficult situation for the Slovenian, who didn't see much of the ball as his team lost control of the game and struggled to break down a resolute Fulham side. Sesko could earn his first United start when they face both Grimsby and Burnley this week, and Amorim believes the new striker needs time to adapt to the pace of English football.
