Milwaukee Bucks general manager Jon Horst earlier said that they are not yet done dealing for the 2025-26 season. The might pull one soon according to an NBA insider.

Anfernee Simons found himself in the Boston Celtics after getting traded by the Portland Traiblazers last month for former Bucks guard Jrue Holiday. However, there might have a chance he won’t suit up at all for Boston as the team still needs to cut players’ salary to remain below second apron.
Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets are emerging as the top trade candidates according to Sam Amico of Hoops Wire.
The 76ers and Nuggets are among the teams that have expressed interest in a possible trade for Celtics guard Anfernee Simons, NBA sources told Hoops Wire.
Simons was acquired from the Trail Blazers earlier this offseason as part of a deal for veteran guard Jrue Holiday. Boston has reportedly explored flipping Simons elsewhere.

The Bucks, however, are also joining the fray.
Sources said the Bucks could be another team that will make a run at Simons before training camp.
Simons has been one of the Blazers’ consistent scorer in the past seasons. He was their top scorer last season, averaging 19.3 points per game in 70 games.
Milwaukee Bucks’ latest signing and roster depth
Trade is the only way the Bucks will get Simons although it will be intriguing who they will let go.
The team added another small forward in Amir Coffey, a signing many fans hailed. The 6-foot-7 guard-forward last played for the Los Angeles Clippers where he averaged 9.7 points on 47.1/40.9/89.1% shooting splits.
The team already has Gary Trent Jr. who they re-signed for a bargain two-year, $7.5 million. They also got AJ Green, Gary Harris, and Cole Anthony.
These players, according to head coach Doc Rivers, are positioned to complement Giannis Antetokounmpo’s passing game. He specifically mentioned GTJ and Green as the two players he said will have a breakout season.

“When you put shooting around that, that’s where the Gary Trents and AJ Greens. . . And I think both of those guys will have a breakout year for us,” he said during Bucks’ Summer League game last month.
