Leeds United are accelerating their efforts to bring in a couple more players before the end of the transfer window to bolster their squad. However, the club are also in negotiations to move on some personnel as they have become surplus to requirements.
The 5-0 defeat at Arsenal on Saturday not only showed the gulf in quality between the two sides, but also the fact that Leeds would need a lot more if they are to survive in the Premier League by the end of the season, despite the win over Everton at home in their opening game of the campaign.

Leeds have a deal in place to sign Leicester City defender James Justin, who is set to complete a move to Elland Road imminently, and are still pushing to add one more striker to their squad before the transfer window closes next Monday.
However, the Whites are pushing to move on a few players before the end of the window. A few have not been part of Daniel Farke’s plans this season, and some have become surplus to requirements following incoming transfers.

Leeds United star Largie Ramazani set to join Valencia
Ramazani struggled to get into the team last season in the Championship and has never been considered a first-choice winger at Leeds.
The winger rejected approaches from European clubs earlier in the window as he was keen to impress Daniel Farke in pre-season and get a spot in the team.
However, Ramazani has dropped further down the pecking order since Noah Okafor’s arrival last season, and was not in the squad to face Arsenal last weekend.
Leeds have been in talks with Valencia over loaning out the winger, and the negotiations have progressed.
According to Sky Sports News, Ramzani is now expected to complete a loan move to Valencia before the end of the transfer window on September 1st.
The negotiations are at an advanced stage, and the player is ready to return to Spain to get more minutes and playing time this season.
Leeds could further strengthen in the wide areas before the end of the window, which would further limit Ramzani’s opportunities this season if he stayed at Elland Road.
Daniel Farke wants a couple more signings
James Justin’s imminent arrival may not be the last piece of incoming business at Leeds before the end of the transfer window next Monday night.
Farke wants one more striker, but that could depend on a significant sale. However, Ramazani’s imminent departure means Leeds could sign one more forward.
The 5-0 defeat showed that Leeds need more quality, and Farke is pushing the club hierarchy to provide him with more tools to work with before the window slams shut in a week.
