Nottingham Forest are still in the market for a number of players this summer as the club looks to finalise their squad.
Forest drew 1-1 with Crystal Palace on Sunday as the future of Nuno Espirito Santo continued to dominate the headlines.
Espirito Santo is hoping to sit down with Evangelos Marinakis and Edu this week to thrash out a move forward, with the Forest head coach disgruntled about something.
It’s believed that Edu blocked a transfer for Adama Traore and Espirito Santo has never really seen eye-to-eye with the new Global Head of Football at the City Ground.
The positive is that Espirito Santo was talking about signing new players and hours after drawing at Selhurst Park, a new link has emerged.

Nottingham Forest want Dominic Livakovic
Forest might have been linked with Jose Mourinho should Espirito Santo depart the club but now they’re in talks to sign one of his goalkeepers.
According to The Guardian, Forest have opened talks with Fenerbahce to try and bring Livakovic to the club to provide competition for Matz Sels.
Angus Gunn has been on the bench for the opening two games of the campaign, but he’s viewed as a solid homegrown option who can operate as the third-choice custodian.

Livakovic has 66 caps for Croatia and was famously the penalty shootout hero when Brazil were stunned at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The 30-year-old hasn’t played for Fenerbahce so far this season and he’s previously been linked with Manchester United and Tottenham in the Premier League.
What Peter Schmeichel said about Dominik Livakovic
Schmeichel is arguably the greatest Premier League goalkeeper of all time and he knows a good custodian when he sees one.
In 2022, after his World Cup exploits, he raved about the Forest-linked player and admitted he saw a bright future for him.
He told beIN Sports (13/12/22 at 6:15pm): “I think he’s one of those players who is now storming onto the world scene.
“He has been very, very good and I would be very, very surprised if he stays at Zagreb now. He is a goalkeeper who will have lots of clubs looking at him.
“Against Brazil in the shootout, he was the hero.”
Forest have been linked with Livakovic before when Steve Cooper tried to bring him to the club to provide competition for Dean Henderson in 2023.
On that occasion, Keylor Navas was presented to the Reds and he helped preserve the club’s Premier League status.
Now, the focus looks to be turning back towards Livakovic as Forest aim to finalise their squad ahead of the Europa League campaign, which gets underway next month.
