Tony Bellew was in attendance to watch Everton play their first Premier League game at their new home, Hill Dickinson Stadium. The former professional boxer is a vocal fan of the Blues and often shares his thoughts on performances.
The 42-year-old Scouser was a professional boxer between 2007-18 and held the WBC Cruiserweight title from 2016-17. He won the WBC cruiserweight title at Goodison in 2016. Bellew has had a close relationship with the club through the years and even presented Goodison's "End of an era" ceremony at the end of last season.
Speaking to EvertonFC.com before the club left Goodison forever, Bellew said: "It’s weird because a part of me keeps thinking about Everton Stadium, but a big part is sad because it’s the end at Goodison for our Men's team."

He added: "I’ve spent my life at Goodison Park and my lifelong dream [of winning a world championship] was lived out at Goodison Park."
After Everton secured their first Premier League win of the season, and played their first league game at their new home yesterday, Bellew took to social media with a family selfie.
The Toffees slotted two past Brighton with goals coming from Iliman Ndiaye and James Garner, while Jordan Pickford played a crucial role at the other end, denying a late Danny Welbeck spot-kick.
Bellew previously said: "The move to the new stadium does excite me. It looks amazing, my season tickets are purchased, so that's all done, it'll be amazing. The squad's a little bit thin, but the most important thing is, the right man’s in charge."
Bellew captioned the latest post: "A special special day with my boys! I love my club and our fan base is the best in the world. Everyone was amazing and the whole experience was just exceptional, Thank you toffees! #COYB #UTFT." Bellew showed fans his view from the 52,769 capacity stadium.
The victory marked a memorable day for the Evertonians in attendance. Moyes told evertontv after the game "it was everything we wished for" and praised the atmosphere at the new ground.

Away from sports, Bellew has been married to wife Rachael since 2018, but the couple began dating when they were teenagers. The pair first met when they were just nine years old and living on the same Merseyside street. Years later, Bellew encountered Rachael while working as a bouncer at a nightclub.
They are now the proud parents of four sons: Corey, Cobey, Carter and Carson. Since he hung up his gloves in 2018, Bellew has become a popular TV personality as he was a hit with fans on the 2023 edition of I'm A Celebrity. The Bomber eventually finished in second place, behind Made In Chelsea's Sam Thompson.
