Bayern Munich are set to discuss the future of several players on Monday whose contracts are set to expire in 12 months.
One of the players whose future has come under intense speculation is Dayot Upamecano, who is reportedly being chased by Manchester United.
The Red Devils could look to bolster their defence, but they are unlikely to lure him away before the end of the window.

Earlier this month, we reported that the Red Devils included Upamecano on their list of priorities, as his contract is set to expire next summer.
The Bavarian giants have been pushing hard to reach an agreement with Upamecano over a new deal, but there has been little progress.
Christian Falk told CFBayern that Man Utd’s interest in the 26-year-old defender has made life difficult for Bayern, and surely they do not want another Leroy Sane saga to unfold.
Moussa Sissoko, Upamecano’s agent, has offered his client to Premier League clubs, including the Red Devils. As a result, Bayern cannot ignore the threat of losing their star player for free next summer, which would be a big blow financially.
Bayern set for crucial internal meeting on Monday
Upamecano was brilliant for the Bavarian giants in the opening game of the 2025-26 season against RB Leipzig.
According to a report from Kicker, Bayern will hold a supervisory board meeting on Monday where they will discuss what to do with players who will be out of contract next summer.
Apart from Upamecano, Bayern need to make decisions on the futures of Leon Goretzka, Manuel Neuer and Serge Gnabry, all of whom have contracts until 2026.
The France international joined Bayern in the summer of 2021 from RB Leipzig, and he has made over 150 games for the German champions.
Interestingly, Kim Min-Jae is set to stay at the club beyond the summer unless any Saudi Pro League come up with a mega bid.
