Snap Counts
Here is a look at the snap counts for the position room last season:
Predicted Week One Roster
Jerry Jeudy
Cedric Tillman
Diontae Johnson
Jamari Thrash
Isaiah Bond
DeAndre Carter
Practice Squad - Michael Woods
Practice Squad - Kaden Davis
Practice Squad - Gage Larvadain
With the addition of Isaiah Bond this position room appears to be set for the season ahead. Since they tend to have five wide receivers active on game day it could be several weeks until we see Bond in action during a regular season game.
The two potential surprises could be they decide not to keep Diontae Johnson but I think there is enough talent there that they should persevere. The other is that they keep Gage Larvadain as the returner instead of DeAndre Carter, personally I believe Carter is the better returner and this is a position they appear to value as a team. If they believe Larvadain has potential to unlock then it could be a risk to expose him to waivers they might make the choice to let Carter walk.
We keep hearing his name but I didn’t know Gage Larvadain had such interesting company / metrics to help explain his production so far as a rookie in camp #Browns pic.twitter.com/zQSmOGyQbh

In pervious years fans have fallen in love with wide receivers in preseason only to see them clear waivers, my belief is Davis and Larvadain are likely to do the same and rejoin the practice squad. Michael Woods makes a lot of sense to sign here too since he gives them a reliable player to call up if there is an injury.
