Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes has big plans for the 2025 season. After failing to secure a Super Bowl three-peat — losing to the Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl LIX — the two-time NFL MVP is more motivated than ever to bring his team back to the championship.

The Chiefs signal-caller has all the confidence in the world that his team has what it takes to dominate and get the job done this time around. He also shared his goal of making the squad a more aggressive group on offense with big plays, further highlighting his commitment to improving their performance.

Even better for Patrick Mahomes, he can expect to get strong support from his wife and their three kids in the new campaign.

Brittany Mahomes said as much, as she expressed her excitement to bring their three kids — Sterling Skye, Bronze and Golden Raye — to the games to watch their dad play. Patrick Mahomes’ wife also shared her belief that it’s going to be a “good” year for her family and the Chiefs.

“Every year is different with my babies, I get so excited taking them to the first game and seeing how much more they understand and enjoy watching their dad play!” Brittany Mahomes wrote, along with several photos of herself and her kids taken when they were attending games last season.

She added, “This year is gonna be a good one.”

Will It Be a Good Year for Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs?

To be fair, Brittany Mahomes has every reason to believe that the Chiefs will have another big season.

Ever since Patrick Mahomes took over as starting quarterback for the Chiefs in 2018, they have reached at least the conference championship every season. The team has made the Super Bowl five times in that span and has won three.

Entering the new season, the Chiefs are projected to be among the top teams again, with ESPN even giving them the second-best chance (10.3%) to win the Super Bowl — only behind the Eagles (10.9%).

The Chiefs kick off their season against the Los Angeles Chargers in Brazil on September 5.
