Ederson is still waiting to learn whether or not he will be leaving Manchester City this summer.
Recruitment expert Mick Brown told Football Insider Man City plan to accept an offer for Ederson following interest from Galatasaray in recent weeks.
The Brazil international was left out of Pep Guardiola’s squad for the opening-day victory over Wolves, while he returned to the bench for the defeat against Tottenham on Saturday (23 August).
James Trafford started in both of those games after rejoining the club for £27million from Burnley last month, with the deal potentially rising to £31million in add-ons.
Meanwhile, Man City are working on a deal for Gianluigi Donnarumma as he looks set to leave PSG this summer.

Fabrizio Romano reported on 16 August Guardiola’s side are asking for a higher fee after Galatasaray submitted an £8.7million bid for the £32-year-old.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, Borson said: “I think you’ve got to be quite sceptical about the numbers on the deal.
“They don’t seem to make a lot of sense, and it just seems unlikely there’d be this kind of to and fro on the bidding given the relatively small amounts that are in play.
“We will find out. I mean, if he ultimately does go to Galatasaray, the thing that we always learn about deals with Galatasaray are both the fee and also the wages quite specifically because they have to make announcements about what they’re paying, including the tax position usually on what they’re paying the players.
“So, there won’t be any mystery if it eventually happens.
“I’m a little bit surprised that if it was going to happen that it’s not happened already.
“It doesn’t feel to me to be the sort of deal that needs to go right to the wire.”

Man City work on expensive transfer deals
In terms of other transfer activity, Football Insider revealed on 17 August Xavi Simons and Rodrygo are on Man City’s radar.
However, both would be expensive deals to pull off, while the focus is currently on trimming the squad at the Etihad Stadium.
It is believed multiple fringe players could leave Man City before the transfer window closes.
