Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Chelsea outcast Axel Disasi before the transfer deadline, according to GIVEMESPORT senior journalist Fabrizio Romano.
The Vitality Stadium outfit are reportedly pushing in negotiations to secure the 'monster' 27-year-old centre-back in the final days of the summer window, with direct contact already established with Chelsea.
Clubs are believed to be in discussions over the final formula of the deal, with Disasi now the top target for Bournemouth, who parted ways with both Dean Huijsen and Ilia Zabarnyi this summer.
Andoni Iraola’s side are said to be confident of getting a move for Disasi over the line before the deadline, with Chelsea open to selling the Frenchman.
The £39m defender has no future at Stamford Bridge under head coach Enzo Maresca and spent the second part of last season on loan at Aston Villa, where he made seven Premier League appearances.

Romano, writing on X, revealed that Bournemouth are in advanced talks to sign Disasi from Chelsea before the deadline, with clubs now negotiating the terms of his exit:
Disasi joined Chelsea from Monaco in the summer of 2023 and has four years remaining on his initial six-year contract.
The five-cap France international has made 61 appearances for the Blues to date, scoring five goals and providing two assists, and registered 29 starts in his debut Premier League campaign in 2023/24.
Chelsea are anticipating several departures before the transfer window shuts, with the likes of Nicolas Jackson, Christopher Nkunku and Tyrique George all available for sale.
The Blues have already parted ways with 17 players this summer, bringing in around £270m, but more departures are needed for the club to continue securing their top targets.
Maresca’s side are believed to have set their sights on signing both RB Leipzig’s Xavi Simons and Manchester United’s Alejandro Garnacho, with talks advancing over a deal for the Argentinian.
They are not expected to sign a new central defender following Levi Colwill’s injury, with Maresca confirming that Chelsea are working on finding a solution internally instead.
