Manchester United are reportedly keeping a close eye on PSG forward Lee Kang-in. Now, a potential move only likely if a standout offer comes in.
Man United tracking PSG star Lee Kang-in
Manchester United are monitoring Lee Kang-in as the transfer window edges closer to its deadline, as per journalist Han June.
PSG see Lee as a valuable squad option. They would only consider a sale should an outstanding offer comes in. That is reportedly somewhere in the region of €40–50m (£35–43m). Lee joined the French side from Mallorca in 2023. He has been mostly used rotationally under Luis Enrique. He made 49 appearances in all competitions, with just over half of those started.
The player was once again an impact substitute in PSG’s UEFA Super Cup win over Tottenham. He helped start the comeback that saw the match end in penalties after being down 2-0. The midfielder was given a start for PSG in their open day of Ligue 1 this season against Nantes. He also made a brief appearance in the 1-0 win over Angers.
💰 PSG have set a huge €40–50m price tag on Kang-in Lee, making a summer move extremely difficult.
🔴 Arsenal made contact but have since signed Eberechi Eze and stepped back.

Interest from the PL is not just from United. Arsenal made some early contact regarding Lee too. For Man Utd, Lee represents a chance to add some attacking options to the ones from Ruben Amorim. His dribbling style and creativity both have the potential to give the Red Devils an extra option in the final third. That is something Utd will be keen to secure if PSG can be convinced to sell.
Transfers on the cards at Old Trafford
Beyond Lee, United are busy finalizing other moves. The pursuit of Brighton midfielder Carlos Baleba has ended. The club is now focusing on signing goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp.
Reports suggest personal terms are close to being agreed. That will make Lammens potentially United’s fifth summer signing. Head coach Ruben Amorim is also looking for options in midfield. That shows a busy finish to the transfer window.
Author’s Opinion
Lee Kang-in is a unique talent that can cause trouble to defenders in the PL. If Man Utd can pull this deal off, it will give them a huge boost for their attack.
