Anfernee Simons was traded to the Boston Celtics earlier this summer, but he has yet to play a game for the team.
And, if current rumors are believed, he may never participate in a game with the Celtics.
Other teams are still looking at Simons and are interested in signing him away from Boston.
According to Sam Amico, per NBACentral, the Philadelphia 76ers and Denver Nuggets are among the teams that have “expressed interest” in a possible trade for Simons.

When Simons came to Boston, a lot of people thought he’d only be there for a limited amount of time.
In fact, some people thought he’d move later that day or shortly thereafter.
However, the Celtics haven’t made any new deals for Simons, although they could be intrigued if the asking price is right.
The move that brought Simons to Boston was more about shedding salaries than acquiring talent.
Although they like Simons and think he could help them, they aren’t too devoted to him or his contract, and they’d be willing to part ways with him if another team makes an intriguing package.
The reporting says that the 76ers and Nuggets are just a couple of teams into Simons, suggesting there are others.
Which other franchises will try to acquire Simons?
Last season, he produced 19.3 points, 2.7 rebounds, and 4.8 assists on 42.6 percent from the floor for the Portland Trail Blazers.
He’s a young man who has been building his output and showing promise.
He’s been playing for a struggling team, so what can he do with a squad that can actually compete?
Will Simons remain in Boston, or will he pack his bags and move again this summer or before the trade deadline?
