The Philadelphia Eagles won the Super Bowl last season, in large part due to a dominating offensive line. While the line again figures to be a strength, there have been some depth issues with former Alabama standout Landon Dickerson questionable in the opener with an injury.

With that in mind, the Eagles made multiple moves to help have their offensive line ready for the opener, as they made multiple trades involving Fred Johnson and Darian Kinnard. They brought back Johnson from the Jacksonville Jaguars for a 2026 seventh-round pick, and sent Kinnard to the Green Bay Packers for a 2027 sixth-round pick.

Both of these guys played their college football in the SEC, as Johnson went to Florida while Kinnard played at Kentucky.

Johnson was a member of the Eagles from 2022-24. He signed with the Jaguars in March, but was a guy that the Eagles got some solid play from last year. They went 5-1 in games he played last season, including a very good performance against Trey Hendrickson and the Cincinnati Bengals.

Kinnard was a part of the Eagles Super Bowl team last year, and has actually won a Super Bowl in each of his first three seasons. He is one of only two players ever (Ken Norton Jr.) to win a Super Bowl in each of his first three seasons. He won his first two with the Kansas City Chiefs, and will look to win one in Green Bay.

He made his first career start last season in the regular season finale against the New York Giants.
