The summer transfer window of 2025 has already etched itself into the Premier League history books, as top-flight clubs in England have spent more than ever before over the course of the past three months or so - a gargantuan £2.4bn as of August 25.
In that time, Liverpool have agreed to potentially make Florian Wirtz the most expensive player in English football history, while Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City have not been shy about splashing the cash either.
There is now just one week left to go until the market closes for another few months, but in quintessential transfer fashion, deadline day will be awash with twists and turns, potentially involving some particularly noteworthy names.
Here, Sports Mole looks at the seven biggest deals that could still go through in the last week of the summer transfer window.
Newcastle United's Alexander Isak pictured on April 2, 2025
The saga that has gripped the market for the past month or so, Alexander Isak remains unwavering in his desire to leave Newcastle United for the reigning Premier League champions.
The Swede remains out in the cold at St James' Park while he does his utmost to force a move through, but Newcastle are adamant that without a cheque for £150m, Isak will be going nowhere.
The situation has already turned ugly, with Isak and Newcastle firing critical statements at each other, and it is anybody's guess as to how this striker soap opera will conclude.
Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapie pictured on August 5, 2025
Continuing their efforts to steal Tottenham Hotspur's targets from under their noses, Arsenal could follow up their Eberechi Eze hijack by bringing Bayer Leverkusen's Piero Hincapie to the red half of North London.
The Gunners are rumoured to be working on a deal for the Ecuador international, who has been sold on the Gunners project by Mikel Arteta and Andrea Berta and is pushing to leave for less than his £52m release clause.
However, one or both of Jakub Kiwior and Oleksandr Zinchenko may have to depart for a move to materialise, but the will is there from both sides to make this transaction happen.
Savinho (Manchester City to Tottenham Hotspur)

No Eze and no Morgan Gibbs-White has been no problem for Spurs in the Premier League so far this season, and Thomas Frank has certainly had his wingers - including new signing Mohammed Kudus - to thank for that.
Nevertheless, the Lilywhites' name is still being mentioned in conversations relating to Savinho's future at Manchester City, andthey have supposedly accelerated talks to sign the Brazilian wide manin recent days.
Pep Guardiola's side may insist on bringing in a replacement for Savinho before sanctioning his exit, though, so do not be surprised to see this one go right down to the wire.
Gianluigi Donnarumma (Paris Saint-Germain to Manchester City)

If James Trafford was not already fearing for his Man City place after his horror mistake against Tottenham, the former Burnley man will almost certainly be worried about the prospect of demotion if the man pictured above arrives.
Gianluigi Donnarumma appeared to bid farewell to the Paris Saint-Germain faithfulon Friday night, and the Champions League and Euro 2020 winner is believed to have agreed personal terms with Man City over a prospective move.
The transfer is contingent on Galatasaray-linked Ederson leaving the club, but if the Brazilian does call time on his City career, expect the Donnarumma deal to go through without a fuss.
RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons on March 8, 2025
One that has been in the works for some time without a significant club-to-club breakthrough, RB Leipzig playmaker Xavi Simons is understood to be pining for a summer switch to Stamford Bridge, in spite of the fierce attacking competition at Stamford Bridge already.
Unlike Donnarumma and Isak, Simons has not been ostracised by his current club - he played the full 90 in Friday's 6-0 Bundesliga loss to Bayern Munich - although further talks with Chelsea were apparently held the following day.
Leipzig sporting director Marcel Schafer has confirmed that a "few exchanges" have taken place with the Blues, but the two sides are yet to shake hands on a fee, as Chelsea will most likely have to make a few player sales first.
Manchester United attacker Alejandro Garnacho on May 25, 2025
Sticking with the theme of Chelsea signing young talent out wide - the undeniable blueprint of BlueCo's transfer business - the Club World Cup winners are rumoured to still be pursuing a marquee move for Chelsea's Alejandro Garnacho.
The Argentine is a member of Ruben Amorim's four-strong bomb squad alongside Tyrell Malacia, Antony and Jadon Sancho, and he is thought to be giving priority to Chelsea if he is to seek pastures new in the current window.
Reports from last week claimed thatthe Blues were confident of tying up a deal for the South American, but as is the case with Simons, outgoings will need to precede incomings.
Rodrygo on July 9, 2025
Formerly on Arsenal's radar before the Gunners captured Eze and Noni Madueke, Real Madrid wide man Rodrygo could be a marquee market opportunity in the final knockings of the window, as his Real Madrid future is growing more uncertain by the week.
The Brazilian lasted just 63 minutes of Sunday's 3-0 La Liga win over Real Oviedo, where he was visibly frustrated to have been taken off, and The Athletic claims that he has instructed his agents to find him a new club in the coming days.
Liverpool and Man City appear his two likeliest destinations, and if the Reds give up on the Isak trail while the Sky Blues open the door to Savinho joining Tottenham, a fascinating two-way fight could be brewing.
