The Los Angeles Lakers currently have two leaders: LeBron James and Luka Doncic.
How well do these legends get along, and are they working in tandem to make the Lakers better?
According to insider Anthony Irwin, James and Doncic have “maintained communication” all summer and are plotting the path forward for LA.
“He [LeBron] & Doncic have maintained communication dating back to the onset of the summer with the focus being how they can make each other better… both superstars are looking forward to playing together again next season,” Irwin said, via NBA Retweet.

At this point last year, neither of these stars imagined they’d be in this position.
They were unexpectedly thrown together when Doncic was traded to the Lakers in the middle of last season.
Since then, Lakers fans have been elated to see these two on the court, although there have been questions about their partnership.
Do their skills really work well together, and should one of them be the definitive leader for the team?
These are some of the questions floating around the Lakers fanbase.
James is getting closer to retirement, and Doncic is obviously the future of this team.
But how do they co-exist and thrive until James steps away from the game?
The Lakers want to take full advantage of having two top-ten players on the roster at the same time.
This reporting from Irwin proves that they are getting along and looking forward to what comes next.
The fact that they want to make one another better is music to the ears of the front office.
There may still be questions about how long this duo can work together, but right now, Lakers fans are basking in the glow of having James and Doncic playing side-by-side.
