Meanwhile, reputed Belgian journalist Sacha Tavolieri has confirmed that talks to sign the Moroccan international have stalled for Crystal Palace, and it remains to be seen whether Tottenham can take advantage of the situation and get the deal done.
They are certainly a more attractive team compared to Crystal Palace and the midfielder could be drawn to the idea of joining them.
