The performance conjured up by Real Madrid youngster Arda Güler in the club’s latest outing has given rise to a head-turning statistic.
This comes amid confirmation that the Turkish international has joined a pair of Blancos legends in an exclusive club.
Real Madrid were of course back in action on Sunday evening, making the trip to the Estadio Carlos Tartiere for a La Liga meeting with newly-promoted Real Oviedo.
When all was said and done, Xabi Alonso’s troops emerged on the right side of a comfortable 3-0 result.
In the game’s aftermath, it was Kylian Mbappé who took the majority of the headlines, owing to a brace in a Man of the Match display.
As alluded to above, though, it was another member of Real Madrid’s ranks who secured for himself a piece of recent club history against Oviedo.
As revealed by statisticians Sofascore, Arda Güler has become just the third Real Madrid player to rack up eight or more key passes in a single fixture over the last seven seasons.
The other two? Luka Modrić, and Toni Kroos.
