Just like he does every year, LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers has been hard at work during the offseason – and he hasn’t been doing it alone.
In fact, a new photo shared on social media by ClutchPoints shows James on the practice court alongside Atlanta Hawks up-and-comer Jalen Johnson.
Johnson might be on the verge of his best season yet, so what is he learning from such a seasoned pro?

Johnson just had a terrific season with the Hawks – but it was sadly cut short just when he was hitting his stride.
He averaged 18.9 points, 10.0 rebounds, and 5.0 assists per game before he was struck down by a shoulder injury at the end of January.
He missed the rest of the season, and all Hawks fans were devastated and wondering what could have been had he stayed healthy.
This summer, Atlanta has impressed its fanbase with smart, strategic moves that could make them a lot better in the new season.
That will give everyone, including Johnson, a chance to thrive.
But it’ll also require that he stay healthy and also show development.
Practicing with James is obviously a great thing, because Johnson could receive some critical and career-changing wisdom from the Lakers star.
This image could create speculation and rumors about Johnson possibly leaving the Hawks for the Lakers.
But there is no evidence of that happening, and this is just two stars spending time together in the summer.
Johnson might be a cornerstone of the Hawks this season, and he is clearly dedicated to giving it his all in 2025-26.
The on-court practicing and off-court conversations he just had with James are going to be priceless for the young star.
