Bayern Munich have reached an 'agreement' with Chelsea striker Nicolas Jackson ahead of a potential move before the transfer deadline day.
The Senegal international has become surplus to requirements at Chelsea, despite managing 30 goals and 12 assists from 81 appearances in all competitions.
A host of clubs, including Aston Villa and Newcastle United are vying for his signature, with Jackson dropping down the pecking order at the London club following the arrivals of Liam Delap and Joao Pedro.
The 24-year-old has not been named in the matchday squad for Chelsea's opening two games, but Enzo Maresca would reintegrate him into the side, should he fail to secure a move away from Stamford Bridge.

Only a few days back, Max Eberl, Bayern's sporting CEO, categorically denied that the German club were in the race for Jackson.
The Bundesliga champions, who thrashed RB Leipzig 6-0 in the opening league game on Friday night, are lacking depth in their attacking department following the departures of Leroy Sane, Thomas Muller, and Kingsley Coman and the injury to Jamal Musiala.
Eberl has confirmed that he has been instructed to buy players on loan following his unsuccessful attempts to secure major targets this summer, including Florian Wirtz and Nick Woltemade.
Christian Falk has reported on X that Bayern have reached a personal agreement with Jackson.
The Bild journalist adds that the Bavarian giants are in negotiation with the Blues over striking a deal, with Bayern favouring a loan move.
Loan deal for Jackson looks difficult

Chelsea value Jackson at around £80m, and they are looking to recoup money from sales, which they want to reinvest in signing the likes of Xavi Simons and Alejandro Garnacho.
Unless the Blues are that desperate, they should not agree to any straight loan deal unless there's an obligation to buy.
Moreover, Jackson reportedly prefers a move to Aston Villa and wants to reunite with Unai Emery. Villa would happily grab the opportunity to sign him on loan, and probably on a better deal than Bayern can offer.
