Mavericks trade pitch would be the second worst trade Nico Harrison has ever made

Nico Harrison simply can't be trusted after he decided to move on from Luka Doncic in a shocking trade that made waves around the NBA like never before.

For whatever reason, Harrison believes he made the right trade, but that clearly wasn’t the case.

Regardless, Mavericks fans can’t sleep well at night knowing that he could potentially trade any of his top players at any time.

Mavericks predicted to make controversial trade

-----------------------------------------------

In a recent trade proposal from Sports Illustrated’s Thomas Carelli, the Mavericks wouldn't make a trade as bad as the Doncic one, but it certainly wouldn't be something that fans would love.

His trade idea would be with the Milwaukee Bucks and land Kyle Kuzma.

Mavericks Receive: Kyle Kuzma

Bucks Receive: P.J. Washington, Naji Marshall

“The Mavericks have great scoring, but that will come greatly from their starting lineup. Kyrie-AD-Flagg will provide among the best NBA offenses, but they cannot play all 48 minutes. Someone must fill the minutes, and Kyle Kuzma can do just that.

“Kuzma has been an above-average scoring forward in his NBA career. In 2022 through 2023, Kuzma averaged well over 20 points per game. This dropped to 14.8 last season, but this came will a slight minutes reduction and then trade to Milwaukee. Unique circumstances,” [he wrote](https://www.si.com/onsi/fantasy/nba/nba-mock-trade-kyle-kuzma-mavericks-bucks).

Trading Kuzma for two players who are not only big pieces of the Mavericks but probably better than him would be questionable.

Past reports have indicated that the Mavericks like Kuzma as a player, but giving up Naji Marshall and P.J. Washington would simply be a questionable decision from Harrison once again.
