Leeds United will have to go back to the drawing board after their loss on Saturday. The defeat to Arsenal was a reality check after the Whites’ impressive performance in the win over Everton.
This week, Leeds will surely be in the transfer market to add some more quality to the side. In the midfield area especially where it looks like injuries are piling up. Ethan Ampadu had an MCL injury at Elland Road in the first game and is expected to be out over a month. Daniel Farke has now confirmed that Ao Tanaka picked up a similar problem, but he is yet to be fully assessed.

Now according to AS in Spain, Wolves have taken the lead in the race to sign the Nigerian international. Fabrizio Romano has now confirmed that the Premier League side have a £17million bid on the table, with talks underway with the player’s camp.
Uche is not what Leeds need with current injury problems
Despite how good of a player the Nigerian is, he is more of a dynamic attacking midfielder who thrives in the box. Injuries to Ampadu and Ao Tanaka mean that any new target should be adept at playing deep in midfield. Hopefully the injury to Tanaka is minor and Leeds do not have to scramble to find a replacement this week.
