The news is that the Italian club want to take him on a loan, which will include a conditional obligation of around £40m along with the loan fee. The talks make it clear that United now have the door open for the Danish striker. A player who shone in Serie A at Atalanta has failed to prove himself at the same level at Old Trafford. Amorim’s trust in Sesko and the departure of Hojlund show that the club have moved towards a new attacking project.
Was Amorim’s decision right or wrong?
The question that arises is whether Ruben Amorim’s move to sideline Hojlund was correct. It is obviously a way of showing the Dane that Amorim does not consider him part of his project anymore, and he has to pack his bags this summer itself. Earlier, there were reports that the 22-year-old wants to stay at Old Trafford this summer, but Amorim’s decision changed everything for Hojlund.
