Warriors turning down trade offers for two key players: Report

It's only fair to question what the Golden State Warriors are doing this offseason. In some ways, it's tough to blame the Warriors for Jonathan Kuminga’s situation, but the team has to figure that out.

At the end of the day, the Warriors understood entering the offseason that they had a big decision to make with Kuminga, and it's almost September, and they haven't done that.

Not only has this situation been unusual with Kuminga, leading to internal issues from both sides, but the Warriors have also been unable to add other players or make trades as a result.

What's the latest on Warriors' offseason?

-----------------------------------------

They're unsure about their cap situation because of him; they haven't signed some of the veterans they've been interested in, and the trade market is only slowing down.

According to Jake Fischer of the Stein Line, there have been some other problems for the Warriors, too. Fischer reported that the Warriors haven't been interested in moving on from Buddy Hield or Moses Moody because they're both two of the better shooters on the team.

"Sources tell The Stein Line, furthermore, that Golden State has refused this summer to even entertain sign-and-trade scenarios that would require it to surrender either Buddy Hield or Moses Moody because of the limited options currently on the roster in terms of proven shooters not named Curry," [Fischer wrote](https://marcstein.substack.com/p/jake-fischer-latest-jonathan-kuminga).

Until Kuminga has his contract situation figured out, whether that's in Golden State or for another organization, it'll be intriguing to see how the Warriors operate. Once it happens, there's a good chance they’ll make the moves that everybody expects them to.
