Arsenal’s Michal Rosiak was officially released by the club this summer, having decided not to renew his contract with the Gunners. Yet as an u23 player who had a contract offer on the table, Rosiak’s departure will still command a training compensation fee for Arsenal from the club he joins.
As a result, Arsenal will be following developments with the player’s future, and he was recently linked with a move to Polish first-tier side Widzewie Łódź.
Though Widzewie Łódź held talks with Arsenal over the compensation amount, Aleksander Bernard of Sport.pl reports that the move has now fallen through.

Bernard adds that this week it should become clear where Rosiak will ended up, and he’s heard the the player’s name has come up with fellow Polish first-division side Śląsk Wrocław.
We know the former Gunner already had a trial with Wycombe Wanderers in League One, playing for the team in a few pre-season fixtures and even scoring in a win over Cheltenham Town. But Wycombe have now kicked off their competitive campaign without him.
At the time, there were also suggestions that Serie A club Lecce were tracking the player for a potential move.

As well as playing for the Arsenal academy, Rosiak has also represented the Polish national team at various youth levels, from u15 up to u19. He may now have the opportunity to return and play in the country of his birth.
