Bournemouth are reportedly in advanced negotiations with Chelsea over a deal for defender Axel Disasi.
The Cherries have seen their defensive options weakened by the departures of Dean Huijsen and Illia Zabarnyi.
They have already delved into the market to recruit one centre-back, signing Bafode Diakite from French side Lille for an initial £30.3m.
The south coast side are now seemingly keen to make Chelsea's Disasi their second central defensive signing of the summer transfer window.

Disasi nearing Chelsea exit
According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, Bournemouth are in 'advanced talks' with Chelsea over a move for Disasi.
The Cherries have made 'direct contact' with the Blues after identifying the Frenchman as a priority target for the closing stages of the window.
The two clubs are currently negotiating the 'final formula' of the deal, with the Cherries optimistic of getting the move over the line.
The update does not disclose whether the two sides are discussing a transfer or loan move, although a recent report suggested Bournemouth are keen to sign Disasi on a temporary basis with an option to make the switch permanent at the end of the season.

Why are Chelsea willing to part ways with Disasi?
Disasi returned to Stamford Bridge this summer after he spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa.
Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca has made it clear that Disasi does not feature as part of his plans, despite the recent news of Levi Colwill's long-term injury.
Maresca can still call upon Trevoh Chalobah, Tosin Adarabioyo, Wesley Fofana, Benoit Badiashile and Josh Acheampong as his centre-back options.
There is also a possibility that the Blues could delve into the market to sign a new central defender before the window shuts on September 1.
Having been deemed surplus to requirements, Disasi will be keen to seal a move away to get the opportunity to play regular football this season.
