Dolphins Predicted To Be One Of NFL's Most Disappointing Teams By Mike Florio

Many members of the national media believe that the Miami Dolphins are set for a down season.

That includes NBC Sports' Mike Florio, as he believes the Dolphins will potentially be one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL.

Florio was on a Barstool Sports podcast, "Pardon My Take," and gave his prediction for Miami as one of the most disappointing teams.

"I would be very concerned if I was a fan of the Dolphins," Florio said. "I don't want to say the Dolphins are going to be among the worst, I just think they're one of the teams most likely to really disappoint their fan base who seem to think everything's fine."

Florio also went on to mention the Cleveland Browns and New Orleans Saints as his two worst teams.

Miami could very well be in the worst spot roster-wise than it has been over the last several seasons. There is a reason the Dolphins have been encouraged to add players via the waiver wire after preseason cuts, and that's a major cause for concern.

It is a roster full of talent, speed and athleticism, but injuries are certainly going to play a pivotal role in the team's success. We've seen in the past that when quarterback Tua Tagovailoa goes down, the offensive production takes a big hit.

Star receivers Jaylen Waddle and Tyreek Hill need their star quarterback to stay healthy to put together productive games and seasons. Running back De'Von Achane missed all of the preseason due to injuries, and it is unclear what his Week 1 status will be.

If the Dolphins are able to stay mostly healthy this season, they could very well exceed expectations set by most. If not, though, it could be a long season and head coach Mike McDaniel could find himself on the hot seat headed in a hurry.
