Report: Juve up offer for Randal Kolo Muani to try and finally close deal with PSG

We are in the final week of the summer transfer window, and one of Juventus’ main targets is still sitting in Paris waiting for some sort of deal to get done so he can move back to Turin.

The thing is, After weeks and weeks of waiting, time is officially starting to run out.

We thought that Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain were closing in on agreeing to a deal for Randal Kolo Muani. The problem is, that still hasn’t happened. Now, with a week to go, things still feel like they’re in a complete holding pattern until somebody flinches. And, according to SportItalia’s Alfredo Pedulla on Monday night, Juventus are set to take another step to try and get things done and finally bring Kolo Muani back to the only club he is really interested in being with this season. Juventus are reportedly set to up their offer to make it a total package of €60 million for Kolo Muani, with around €10 million up front as a loan fee for the 2025-26 campaign and then another €50 million as part of the obligation to buy and make his deal permanent.

It’s more than the previous total cost of around €55 million to bring Kolo Muani back to Turin.

So while he continues to train away from the rest of the PSG squad, Kolo Muani’s future is still somewhat hanging there because the European champions continue to ask for a few million more with every passing week or so.

So, here goes the latest twist in negotiations that have basically gone on the entire summer. We’ve known for months now — basically since the Club World Cup when he was still technically on the Juve roster — that Kolo Muani wanted to come back to Turin. And that hasn’t changed at all, even as Kolo Muani has garnered interest from some of the big spenders in the Premier League. Kolo Muani has remained steadfast in his desire to come back to Juventus, and not even a long and drawn out negotiation has changed that.

Yet, Juve still hasn’t been able to close the deal.

And the thing is, with every week that passes, the reported price of what it will take to bring Kolo Muani back to Turin only seems to get higher rather than going in a much more friendly kind of way.

Let’s face it, €60 million is a lot of money for Juventus to spend on a player — especially one who was far from dominant during his six months on loan with the Bianconeri last season. It’s a lot of money to commit to Kolo Muani regardless of what happens with Dusan Vlahovic during the final week of the summer transfer window. And if Vlahovic can’t find a new club over the next week, it’s a lot of money to commit to the striker position knowing how much he makes and how much the Kolo Muani package will likely end up being.

So here’s to hoping that something can just get done because the last thing Juventus need to see happen is for a player that they’ve been chasing for the entire summer and who has been waiting to re-sign with the club actually end up staying in Paris or head somewhere else on Deadline Day.
