Very well. When Grant was appointed, our owner Kevin Nagle clumsily coined the term ‘Northern Football’ and suggested that Lee Grant was the man brought in to deliver it. The club’s media department has leant into this very well and it’s become a ‘thing’ without anyone from the club being able to put their finger on exactly what it is.
Grant has so far delivered a front foot, in your face, spirited brand of football and for those Town fans with the “GERRIT FORRAD” tick, which afflicts about 65% of the fanbase, they are finally having fun after almost a decade of dirge, which has seen people leave the stands in droves. All that we’re missing now is the keen stench of woodbine and ralgex floating through smoky skies and Northern Football would be truly back!
