Manchester United face intensified competition to sign goalkeeper Senne Lammens.
Senne Lammens has been on Manchester United’s radar since the beginning of the summer, but it was only last week the club sprang into action.
Amid interest from Inter Milan, Manchester United stepped up interest and are now negotiating the terms of a £17 million transfer for the Royal Antwerp goalkeeper.
Lammens was kept out of Antwerp’s game at the weekend as talks with United continued.
While it’s clear United are advancing for the goalkeeper, one club is keen to try and beat the Red Devils to his signature.

Galatasaray pushing for Senne Lammens
Turkish club Galatasaray are searching for a goalkeeper and Senne Lammens has been on their radar all summer too.
Belgian outlet HBVL reports that Galatasaray sent a delegation to meet with Antwerp officials to discuss a move.
The report states that while an agreement between United and Antwerp is expected, Galatasaray wish to hijack the move, and they are ‘desperate’ to sign him.

HBVL add that crucially for Manchester United, Senne Lammens has already made up his mind that he wants to join the Red Devils.
He is said to see the possibility of becoming Manchester United’s first choice as a ‘unique opportunity’.
Unclear how United situation plays out
It appears probable that Manchester United do get a deal for Senne Lammens done, but it is unclear what this means for the current goalkeepers at the club.
Ahead of the weekend, Altay Bayindir was expected to be the one to make way. But this may have changed with the goalkeeper selected to start against Fulham, with Andre Onana left out once again.
One theory is that Ruben Amorim is smoothing a path for Lammens to become number one, by having Bayindir as his competition, with Onana forced out.
If Galatasaray are still looking for a goalkeeper, perhaps Andre Onana or Altay Bayindir could be of use?
