Snap Counts & Quick Takeaways
Looking at who played during each game. During the preseason, the key data point is the order in which each player plays. I will keep a total across the season so that we can look at patterns from week to week including how many of each position per snap.

Stock Up/Down Analysis
When the season is underway I do my weekly stock up vs stock down series looking at three players who are in a better position due to their play or the impact from another player on the roster. This isn't the standard "who played best and who played the worst" article, partly because it doesn't really matter too much when it comes to the Front Office perspective and looking at a player's status on the roster. We expect the likes of Myles Garrett and Joel Bitonio to be in the mix for the best-performing players on either side of the ball, but it doesn't really change their standing on the roster. For the preseason I will cover every position room.

Looking at potential free agency and trade targets at to strengthen the position room.

Looking at every contract the Cleveland Browns currently have, what the outs are in the deal as well as when extension might be due for particular players. This will show you why one player might be much more expendable than another at the same position.
