A swarm of NBA stars are set to compete in EuroBasket 2025, with 24 teams battling in one of FIBA's premier international basketball tournaments.
Action will take place in four different countries — Cyprus, Finland, Poland and Latvia — across a two-and-a-half week span, starting in late August and concluding with the championship game in mid-September.
Three-time NBA MVP Nikola Jokic leads Serbia, the No. 2 team in the world, in Group A. Fresh off a bronze medal in the 2024 Paris Olympics, Serbia is viewed as one of the top contenders to win EuroBasket 2025.
There's plenty of star power elsewhere, too. Kristaps Porzingis (Latvia) and Alperen Sengun (Turkiye) should challenge Jokic in group play. In Group B, Germany returns much of the same core that won the FIBA World Cup in 2023, including Franz Wagner.
Two-time NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo leads Greece in a tough Group C, which also features Spain, the defending EuroBasket champion. And don't forget about Luka Doncic, who steers Slovenia into action in Group D.
