‘Not fair’: Bruno Guimaraes sends emotional message to Newcastle fans after crushing loss to…

Bruno Guimaraes has delivered a firm message following Newcastle United’s agonising defeat to Liverpool on Monday night.

Newcastle lost 3-2 to Liverpool, having initially come from two goals down to level the game up with 10 men after Anthony Gordon’s red card.

However, there was a late twist at St James’ Park. 16-year-old Rio Ngumoha scored in the 100th minute to put Liverpool back in front, breaking Toon hearts in the process.

It was a gruelling evening on Tyneside, but one that Eddie Howe’s players can look back on with immense pride. It was an excellent performance from Newcastle United, and one that deserved so much more.

That is certainly the view of Bruno Guimaraes.

Bruno had mixed feelings about the Aston Villa game too. For the second week in a row, the Brazilian midfielder believes his side have not got what they deserved.

Despite a couple of very strong performances, the Magpies have one point from their opening two Premier League games. That leaves them in 15th place.
